Case Study: Puget Sound Blood Center Phase II
PSBC was designed and constructed under a very tight time restraint–so much so that design and construction occurred simultaneously. Temporary supports were used for the extensive mechanical systems while the permanent infrastructure was designed, procured and assembled on site.
A cooperative team effort and innovative solutions made the project a resounding success, allowing a 60,000 sq. ft. laboratory and office space to emerge from a warehouse environment.
